The company was founded in 1995 as an IT systems house. Since more than 25 years, tuomi tuomi established itself as an innovative force and as an expert in the fields of software development for mobile and cloud-based applications, NFC and digital marketing.

    tuomi started a digital loyalty campaign with a big German brewery. In the centre: The NFC glass in bars and restaurants. After a successful start, more than 450 establishments are participating. And that number continues to grow.

    Many museums and national parks such as the Visitor Center on the 'Brocken' in the Harz Mountains or the Palatinate Museum of Natural History in Bad Dürkheim rely on tuomi NFC multimedia solutions. NFC, GPS, QR codes, beacons and object recognition all work together to create an exciting overall concept.

    An NFC project with Bayer Healthcare in Singapore attracts a lot of attention. Thanks to the smart "Taplabel", customers in Guardian supermarkets can obtain information about the product right on the spot. This led to tuomi being named one of the 100 most innovative companies at the German SME summit 2015.

    tuomi starts developing software based on NFC technology. As the company's first major project, the more than 1,300 digital display panels of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) provide users with up to the minute information using tuomi software and NFC chips. Trustworthiness and reliability are hallmarks of what we do: the up time of the panels is over 99.9%.
