NFC – Near Field Communication
What is NFC?
NFC stands for Near Field Communication. NFC is a kind of wireless data transmission that compliments Bluetooth and WiFi. NFC has a range of only a few centimetres, making it possible to have a very focused communication. Almost all smartphones on the market today have this technology and in the near future it will also be built into notebooks and tablets, TVs, speakers, refrigerators and blood pressure monitors. NFCs can make simple processes such as Bluetooth-pairing even easier, but they can also manage and simplify complex processes.
Through our many and very diverse projects in industry, trade and the arts, tuomi has built up a huge knowledge base with respect to the optimal us of NFC. Whether it is keeping tabs on time or on objects, in a museum or protection against counterfeiting, we know about the possibilities that NFC offers and how to implement them. Tuomi has more than 6 years of experience with NFC. We have worked for many international companies and successfully carried out numerous projects. This know-how, together with a rich repertoire of existing functional modules, gives tuomi the capability to develop custom apps in a very short space of time.
